J&K Ju-Jitsu C’ship 2024-25 concludes

JAMMU, Mar 22: The 9th J&K Ju-Jitsu Championship 2024-25 concluded at Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 athletes representing 10 districts of J&K. The event was organized by the Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K (JJAJK).
The valedictory function was graced by Dushyant Sharma (SSP, J&K Police & President, J&K Olympic Association) as chief guest.
KC Singh Mehta, Principal of IDPS Akhnoor was guest of honour. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Navneet Gupta, general secretary JJAJK; Tarsem Sharma, Founder of Ju-Jitsu Sport in J&K; Amit Singh, joint secretary JJAJK; Sunita Badyal, Sports Promoter; Ravinder Sharma, Chief Wrestling Coach of J&K; Muzaffar Ahmed, Sachin Thakur, Harsh Vardhan Raina, Abhay Raina and Jaspreet Kaur.
The championship was held under the technical supervision of Danish Sharma, Technical Director of JJAJK with the assistance of Rudrakshit Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Dushyant Sharma encouraged the participants to continue their dedication to sports and bring laurels to the region.
The championship concluded with medal distribution and recognition of outstanding performances by the athletes.
