J&K judiciary to contribute to Kerala Relief Fund

JAMMU, Aug 27: J&K judiciary has come forward to lend a helping hand in the relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected Kerala populace.
According to an order issued by Registrar General of State High Court Sanjay Dhar, Vide Resolution dated 24th of August, 2018, the Full Court has resolved that the Chief Justice and all Judges of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir may make a contribution of Rs 25,000 each for the Distress Relief Fund of the Chief Minister of Kerala.
Similarly, all the District Judges of the State may contribute Rs 15,000 each for the Distress Relief Fund of the Chief Minister of Kerala. All Sub-Judges /Civil Judges (Senior Division) may contribute Rs 10,000 each and all Munsiffs/Civil Judges (Junior Division) may contribute Rs 7500 each.
All the Gazetted Officers of the High Court staff and Gazetted staff of the Subordinate Courts may contribute Rs 5000 each. Similarly, all Non-Gazetted staff of the High Court and Subordinate Courts may contribute one day’s salary for the Distress Relief Fund of the Chief Minister of Kerala.
