JAMMU, Mar 1: J&K Jump Rope Junior team has brought laurels to the State in the recently held 11th Junior National Championship at Nasik, Maharashtra.
Uddit Khullar won silver medal in the single rope Double Under and gold medal in both single Rope Speed 30 seconds and Single Rope Endurance 3 minutes under 16 years age category.
Mohit Kumar, Rahul Choudhary, Nadeem Sayeed and Ibrar Khan also won silver medals.
The team was accompanied by Bawa Ditta, general secretary and Shubham Malhotra as coach.
Ranjeet Kalra, member BCCI and J&K State Sports Council, who was the chief guest during the felicitation function called for tapping younger talent so as to nurture them at the right time and further send them for advanced coaching.
Dr Seema Pawan Manhas, senior official with the association also appreciated the team and coaches for their achievements.
