JAMMU, Jan 31: Jammu & Kashmir’s Kalarippayattu athletes delivered impressive performances at the 38th National Games 2025, held at Police Line Stadium, Haridwar. Dua Mukhtar earned a Silver Medal in the High Kick (Above 5.6 Feet) event, while Aman Gupta secured a Bronze Medal in the Kaipporu event (65 to 80 kg weight category). Additionally, Parkash Singh finished fourth in the High Kick (Below 5.6 Feet) event, and Sajan Shan claimed Fifth place in the Urmivesshal event, demonstrating remarkable skill and determination. The team was guided by Coach Danish Sharma and Manager Harsh Vardhan Raina.
Danish Sharma, Secretary General of the Kalarippayattu Association of J&K, expressed immense pride in the athletes’ achievements, emphasizing the hard work put in by both the athletes and support staff.
