J&K loses to MP in semis of Divang T20 Championship

JAMMU, Sept 25: Jammu and Kashmir lost to Madhya Pradesh in all important semifinals of the ongoing Super Six Divang T20 championship which is being held at Vadodra in Gujarat.
In the quarterfinal match, batting first J&K Physically Challenged Cricket team scored 112 runs in 16 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Firdous  was the main scorer with 54 runs, including 6 boundaries, while Nadeem Ahmad contributed 27 runs for the J&K team. Sanjeev took 2 wickets, while Mohinder, Shiv Partap, Sanjay Pal and Pardeep Singh claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Madhya Pradesh Physically Challenged Cricket team chased the target   in 14 overs for the loss of 2 wickets thus won the match by 8 wickets. Sachin Sisodiya top scored with unbeaten 54 runs while Sanjay Pal contributed 29 runs to the winning total.
From J&K, Mohd.Younis and Firdous Ahmed took 1 wicket each. Sachin Sisodiya of Mdhya Pradesh was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant batting.
