JAMMU, Aug 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Lawn Tennis Association (JKLTA) has been organizing two days Under-14 and Under-16 competitions in both boys and girls categories at Lawn Tennis Court in Maulana Azad Stadium here today.
As per results available, in Under-14 Boys Singles event, Shivansh Koul defeated Harman Singh by 6-2, Diptanshu Chopra defeated Samanyu Seth by 6-3, Aadvay Gupta defeated Utkarsh Sharma by 6-2, Arhan Sharma defeated Jaagmeet Singh by 6-3, Yajat Sharma defeated Vinmar Gupta by 7-5 and Natik Gupta surrendered to Adarsh.
Meanwhile in Under-14 Boys Doubles, Shivansh Koul and Jasraj Singh pair defeated Jivyansh Gupta and Saksham Mehra by 6-1, Madhavendra Singh and Yajat Sharma pair defeated Jaagmeet Singh and Vinmar Gupta by 6-2.
In U-16 Boys Singles, Madhavendra Singh defeated Saksham Amla by 6-3, Abhirath Thappa defeated Aditya Singh by 6-2, Aahan Bhat defeated Ceeyal Jain by 6-4. In Under-16 Boys Doubles, Aahan Bhat and Saksham Amla pair defeated Ceeyal Jain and Himank by 6-2 and in Under-14 Girls Singles, Mehreen Kaur defeated Pariyat Seth 6-1.
The competitions are being held under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir lawn Tennis Association in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
