SRINAGAR, Nov 6: Jammu and Kashmir Wushu players maintained lead in Sanda event in sub-junior and junior categories on the 3rd day of the ongoing Khelo India Wushu Women’s League-2022 North Zone, organised at SK Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
In Taolu, four events were played in junior category, wherein in Qiang-Shu, Haryana (Gold), Punjab (Silver) and Delhi & J&K (Bronze), while in Taiji-Quan, Himachal Pradesh (Gold), J&K (Silver & Bronze) and in Nandao, Haryana (Gold), besides Himachal Pradesh (Silver & Bronze).
In senior category of Taolu: in Chang-Quan, Punjab (Gold & Silver), Uttarakhand & Haryana (Bronze), while in Nanquan, Delhi (Gold), Haryana (Silver), Chandigarh & Himachal Pradesh (Bronze) and in Taiji-Quan, Himachal Pradesh (Gold), Haryana (Silver), Delhi & Himachal Pradesh (Bronze),besides in Baguazhang, Chandigarh (Gold), Himachal Pradesh (Silver), Ladakh & J&K (Bronze).
In Nandao, Chandigarh (Gold) and Haryana (Silver), while in Jianshu, Delhi (Gold), Haryana (Silver), and Himachal Pradesh (Bronze). In Taijijian, Haryana (Gold), Delhi (Silver) and Chandigarh & Himachal Pradesh (Bronze), besides in Qiangshu, Delhi (Gold), Haryana (Silver) & J&K (Bronze).
In Qiangshu Group-A, Somya-Haryana (Gold), Ankita-Punjab (Silver) and Bhumi-Delhi & Savita-J&K (Bronze), in Taijishan Group-A, Kashish-Himachal Pradesh (Gold), Naia-J&K (Silver) and Bisma-J&K (Bronze), in Nandao Group-A, Bijnesh-haryana (Gold), Shilpa-Himachal Pradesh (Silver) and Isha- & Jasmeen- Himachal Pradesh (Bronze), in Changquan (Optional), Priyanka-Punjab (Gold), Jaspreet Kaur-Punjab (Silver) and Jyoti Verma- Uttarakhand & Diksha Rana-Haryana (Bronze) and in Nanquan (Optional), Rezina Tamang-Delhi (Gold), Shiva- Haryana (Silver) and Bhawana Rani-Chandigarh & Shivani-Himachal Pradesh (Bronze).

On the 3rd day of the League, the medal ceremony was held in Taolu events wherein Farooq Wani (Chief Editor Brighter Kashmir, Suhail Ahmad ( Coordinator Wushu Association of India, Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya awardee) organizing Secretary Khelo India Women’s Wushu League and Krishan Singh (P.O) SAI were the guests.
