JAMMU, Sept 22: Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu shall organize J&K Masters Inter State Cricket Championship in collaboration with Jammu University, Veterans Cricket J&K and Veterans Cricket Association of India from September 23 to 26 at Jammu University.
Four teams namely Mumbai Masters, Delhi Giants, MP Legends and J&K Seniors are participating in the championship which is being organized under the chairmanship of Mukesh Singh ADGP Jammu and the organizing committee members of the championship includes Chandan Kohli SSP Jammu, Ashok Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, RK Bhat SSP, Dowd Iqbal Director Physical Education JU, Ranjeet Kalra Member Sports Council, Vivek Suri Media Journalist, Amit Kumar, Avinash Kumar, Ashish Singh, Tushar Gaind and Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer and the organizing secy with the slogan ” “Lets Play and Inspire all to Play”.
The championship is being supported by Chambers of Commerce and Industry Jammu, Chambers of Traders federation Jammu, Traders Federation Warehouse Jammu, while Horizon Group, Wheelocity Skoda and Mulkraj Jewellers are sponsoring Associations and the co-sponsors are BMRC, HH, Mela Ram Jewellers, Vinson and Nidra Foam.
The team J&K Seniors will be led by Mukesh Singh ADGP Jammu, the team Mumbai Masters led by Vijay Patel, the MP Legends team led by Sukhdev Singh and the team Delhi Giants led by Vipin Sharma.
