JK Montessorie British School organizes prog on Environment protection

JAMMU, Aug 10: JK Montessorie and its affiliated unit JK Little Millennium International School organized a programme aiming at protecting the “Environment” in which students planted new saplings in the premises of their School.
Over 300 students participated from play group to class 3rd in the programme.
Meaningful slogan displays were put up to highlight the importance of trees, spreading the message that “one who plants a tree , plants a hope.”
On this  occasion , a special assembly was conducted which conveyed the message that  environment is in crises due to global warming , over population , ecological imbalance , pollution and other critical environmental issues.
The toddlers were in green dresses along with environmental pamphlets, contributing to improving greenery.
The students were enlightened by various activities like slogan writing competition, coloring Posters of Environment Save Planet Earth”, Environment Games & Puzzles, Rhymes & Songs, Worksheets etc.
Students also conducted various programs for recycling and conservation, using recycle able containers for snacks replacing in condescend light bulbs with energy – saving compact light bulbs with energy- saving compact fluorescent ones.
Managing Director, Sanjeev Gupta, Director Academics, Rajni Gupta , Vice Principal, Geeta Dixit and Co-ordinator, Vandana Gupta were also present on the occasion.
