JK Montessorie School accords farewell to outgoing students

JAMMU, Feb 2: The students and staff of JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School accorded farewell to the outgoing batch of class 12th in a special function held in the Mint Leaf Party Hall, here today.
The function started with welcome address by Shruti Khazanchi, student of XI class. It was a gala show in which excited students of class XI presented a cultural programme showing their talent and creativity.
The guests were welcomed by putting ‘tilak’ on their foreheads, which was followed by various cultural programmes presented by the students of class XI to entertain their departing by singing , dancing and solo songs.
Mr and Miss JK Montessorie was also announced on the occasion.
In addition, the host class also presented specially designed good luck gifts, bouquets and mementos to their seniors with suitable titles.
Divya Ambardar of class 12th was given the title of Miss JKMS- 2016 while Rishav Gupta was declared Mr JKMS-2016.
They were selected on the basis of their performance in entertainment and general awareness programme organized on the spot, while Jatin Gupta and Rakhi Raj were given trophies for punctuality.
In their farewell thanks giving speeches, Head Boy,  Ashish Gupta and Head Girl Akshita Mangotra recalled their more than 12 years schooling at JKMS with deep fondness & expressed their gratitude to the teachers of the school for shaping them into good human beings.
Prof. Mohd. Ayub Khan was the chief guest, while Managing Director, Sanjeev Gupta was the guest of honour and Director Academics, Rajni Gupta was the special invitee.
Chief guest distributed the achievement certificates and mementos to teachers Pallvi Sharma  and Skarma Dixit for preparing the students well.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Rajat Mangotra of class 12th.
