JAMMU, Sept 30: JK Montessorie Sr. Sec. School organized an inter- section ‘Debate Competition’ in the school premises for the students of classes 2nd and 3rd   today.
The topic for the competition was Gandhi Ji -“a great soul”. It was an attempt to promote and inculcate the habits of speaking among  the students and to expand their dexterity in speaking skills.
The competition was adjudged by Navjot Kour and Jyoti Chib co-curricular in charge. The first position was clinched by Danish Radha of class 2nd (lotus), second position was bagged by Neel Pandita of 2nd (Lotus) and third position was shared by Deepali Pankaj and Tavanveer Singh of class 2nd (Rose).
Similarly, Pulkit Bhat of 3rd (Lotus) got first position, Sanjeevni Pandita of class 3rd (Rose) secured IInd position and IIIrd prize was won by Arya Sharma of class 3rd (Rose).
Director Academics, Rajni Gupta urged the participants to enhance their language skills and attain accuracy and fluency as the same will enhance their personality, while Managing Director of the School, Sanjeev Gupta, Vice Principal,Geeta Dixit and Co-ordinator, Vandana Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
