JAMMU, Nov 9: For representing the State of Jammu and Kashmir in the forthcoming National Power Lifting Championship to held at Samrala in Ludhiana from November 15 to November 18, the J&K Sports Power Lifting Association has selected team for men and women, here today.
According to a handout issued here, the team was selected on merit in presence of Rakesh Jain, president Jammu and Kashmir Power Lifting Association, Ashok Mahajan, vice president, Rajan Jain, general secretary, Ajay Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Gurumukh Singh and Rajesh Dutta, joint secretary.
The team: Men; Arun Dev, Bodh Raj, Sandeep, Sumit Gupta, Ashraf, Manjeet Singh, Gourav Sharma, Varun Sharma, Ankush Sharma, Adil Ashraf, Ashwani and Sukhvinder.
Women; Monika Mehra and Parvinder Kour.
Rajan Jain, general secretary of the Association will accompany the team alongwith other officials.
