JAMMU, Mar 25: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association team brought laurels to the State by excelling in the North-India Bench-Press and Powerlifting Championship held at RKM Gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House, here.
Rakesh Kumar won gold medal in Powerlifting Championship, while Surmeet Kour Soni clinched silver medal in both Powerlifting & Bench Press Championship and Achint Kour claimed silver medal in Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship.
The team was honoured today at Jammu by the Managing Committee headed by Rajan Jain, general secretary of the Association.
