J&K seeks Rs 700 cr package for developing sports infra

SRINAGAR, June 28: Jammu and Kashmir sought Rs 700 crore package for developing sports infrastructure in the state.
Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din said every Panchayat has been asked to make available a piece of land which could be developed as a playing field.
He said he has sought a package of Rs 700 crore from the Centre for developing sports infrastructure in the State.
Mr Taj said a sports complex will be constructed at Devsar town in south Kashmir which will have both outdoor and indoor games and it would be equipped with latest gadgetry.
