JAMMU, Sept 25: J&K Shooters excelled in the 24th Kumar Surender Singh Inter-school Shooting Championship held at Asansol in West Bengal by wining one individual gold in 10 meters Air Rifle Junior women (NR) and silver in team sub youth men (NR) categories.
Shimani Choudhary got the individual gold medal in10 metres Air rifle junior women (NR), whereas the team comprising Viraj Koushal, Akul Mengi and Anirudh Sharma got the team silver medal in sub youth men (NR) categories.
The shooters have trained under the guidance of coach Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh.
Dilbag Singh DGP J&K chairman, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal president, and other office bearers of J&K Rifle Association congratulated the shooters.
