Wazir further said that the Sikh Sangat of J&K will fully support Manjeet Singh GK in his future Panthic efforts to enlighten the community and keep it united. He lambasted the attitude of fascist forces of terror let loose by BJP and its allied organizations like ABVP which had threatened of raping Gurmehar Kour, whose father was martyred during the Kargil war. Wazir said that raising voice against ABVP and those hooligans who did not believe in the Constitution of India can be no reason to threaten the daughters of India with rape and murder. This speaks volumes about the mindset of ABVP, he added.
SUF leader reminded the progressive forces of the country to think that ever since the BJP has come to power in India, not only the minorities are feeling threatened in India but the Indians living abroad are facing racial profiling and hate crimes against them. During last few days, 10 Indians including Sikhs have been targeted and few murdered but the present Government is only operating through tweets.
Dayal Singh Wazir, president Shiromani Akali Dal, J&K warned allied organizations of BJP, like ABVP to desist from the nefarious designs. He said it is duty of the Govt to protect all the communities irrespective of caste, creed and color.
Darbinder Singh, Ramneek Singh, Raja Singh, Fateh Singh- DGPC Jammu members and Surinder Singh Kala also spoke on the occasion.
