JAMMU, Jan 29: J&K senior men’s Softball team for the upcoming 44th Senior National Softball Championship has been selected after screening by the Screening Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council, here today.
The screening committee was headed by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh who screened the team along with Sports Officer Central, Nuzhat Gazala and other members at Green Field Gandhi Nagar.
The 44th Senior National Softball Championship is scheduled to be held at Puri, Odisha from February 5 to 9. The team was screened in presence of Chaman Lal Bhat, senior vice president, Waseem Raja Khan, honorary general secretary and other members of the Association.
Team: Vishal Singh Chib, Ajay Singh, Varinder Singh, Ayush Singh, Rohil Rashid, Rawat Singh, Pardeep Singh, Sagar Chib, Jasbir Singh, Anmol Singh, Pradeep Kumar, Parshant Singh Manhas, Mohammad Furqan, Rakesh Singh, Amit Sharma and Ghar Singh, while Harvinder Singh Sodhi and Padam Dev Singh will accompany J&K Softball team as coaches and Sudhir Singh will serve his services as manager with the team.
