JAMMU, Jan 7: Jammu & Kashmir Softball Association (JKSFA) selected Men & Women teams for 40th Senior National Softball Championship which is going to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra from January 11 to January 16, 2019.
The teams were flagged off by MLC Vikram Randhawa in a simple function today.
The championship will be organized by Maharashtra Softball Association under the aegis of Indian Softball Federation, Nagpur.
15 girls and 18 boys were selected in the State team, with two boys from the Valley.
Rohit Jamwal and Padamdev Singh are accompanying the teams as coaches, while Akash Singh is the Manager.
The players who were selected in the Senior Softball (Men) team are Jasbir Singh, Ajay Singh, Sunny, Sachin Singh Jamwal, Vikram Singh Chib, Ayush Singh, Parshant Singh, Amit Sharma, Aman Singh, Pardeep Singh, Sagar Chib, Sumeet Singh, Roshan, Arun Sharma, Koushal, Javed, Mohd. Iqbal.
The Senior Softball (women) team includes Nayna, Shilpe, Harshpreet, Gulshan, Harseerat, Arshiya, Harvinder, Japleen, Navya, Zenab, Zaiba, Bhoomi, Ritika, Madhu Rani and Komal.
