JAMMU, July 12: The J&K Sub Junior (Men) National Hockey team was flagged off from Jammu to participate in the 2nd Hockey India Sub Junior North Zone National Championship here today. The Championship will be commencing from July 15 to 22 in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
Officials said prior to the departure, Hockey J&K distributed Hockey sticks, safety equipment and uniforms to the players. During the occasion members of Hockey J&K were also present. The Sub Junior team comprised of Divjot Singh, Varunpreet Singh, Tanishdeep Singh, Prabvir Singh Bali, Gurpreet Singh, Parbal Sharma, Ahtisham Hussain Khan, Ramanjot Singh, Harmandeep Singh, Adhiraj Singh Andotra, Harshdev Singh, Amandeep Singh, Prabjot Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Bhavneet Singh, Gunpreet Singh and Zakir Ahmad Dar.
Tanminder Singh (Manager), Jasprit Singh (Chief Coach), Simranjeet Kour (Asstt.Coach) and Gunjanpreet Kour (Asstt. Manager) are part of the team as supporting staff.
