JAMMU, Nov 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Sub Junior Rollball team has made the Union Territory proud by winning silver medal at the 2nd North Zone Rollball Championship, held in Ludhiana on November 23-24, 2024. The championship saw fierce competition among top teams from across the North Zone.
The Jammu and Kashmir boys’ team included: Bhavyansh Sharma, Mohammad Affan Andrabi, Mohammad Rasiq, Agrim Bangotra, Krishna Dubey, Vaibhav Sharma, Astitva Choudhary, Natik Nanda, Udhav Sharma, Samuel Khokhar, Tanish Thakur and Gourav Singh.
The girls’ team comprised: Shahzadi Eleeza, Meera Verma, Aleena Irfan, Sanna Dhiman, Dhwani Nanda, Urwah Sajad, and Qurat-ul-Ain. The team’s commendable performance at the competition has earned them recognition and praise, further elevating the sport’s profile in Jammu and Kashmir.
