JAMMU, Aug 3: The Sub Juniors and Juniors Swimming contingents from Jammu & Kashmir were flagged off by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Law & Order) Ansuya Jamwal here today.
The teams are set to compete in the 40th Sub-Junior (10-11 years) and 50th Junior (12-14 years and 15-17 years) National Swimming Championships at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from August 6 to 11.
The contingent includes Jaiwardhan Singh and Talha Azi (Boys, 15-17 years), Melissa Singh and Vamika Parmar (Girls, 15-17 years), Musa Pervaiz Malik and Abdul Aleem (Boys, 12-14 years), and Mitali Raj and Manha Pervaiz Malik (Girls, 12-14 years). Officials present included President Ramandeep Singh Soodan, General Secretary Bharat Kumar Sharma, and Vice President Vikram Singh Manhas.
