J&K Swimming team flags off for 77th Senior National Aquatic C’ship

JAMMU, Sept 8: The Jammu & Kashmir Swimming Association has officially flagged off the J&K-UT team for the 77th Senior National Aquatic Championship here today. The championship organized by the Karnataka Swimming Association under the auspices of the Swimming Federation of India, will be held at the International Swimming Complex in Yemmekere, Mangalore, from September 10 to 13, 2024.
Prof. Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, President of the J&K Olympic Association and Vice-President of the Indian Olympic Association, was the chief guest at the flag-off ceremony. President Ramandeep Singh Soodan and General Secretary Bharat Kumar Sharma were also present on the occasion. The squad consists of 10 swimmers-five males and five females: Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat, Showkat Ali Bhat, Rudraksh S. Gupta, Aayan Sharma, Pratul Singh Jamwal, Avnee Aethmea, Aditee Aditya Bargotra, Tanisha Jaggi, Chitrangna Sharma, and Prajal Gupta. Joint Secretary Babita Jamwal will serve as coach and manager for the contingent.
