JAMMU, Oct 22: Jammu & Kashmir’s Taekwondo athletes showcased exceptional talent at the 40th Senior National Kyorugi and 13th Senior National Poomsae Taekwondo Championships, held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Puducherry.
Narayan Sharma delivered a remarkable performance in the Senior Men’s Under 87 Kg category, earning a Bronze medal, while Ashish displayed formidable skills in the Senior Men’s Under 74 Kg category, also securing a Bronze Medal for the Union Territory.
Both athletes have now earned the prestigious opportunity to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the upcoming 38th National Games, set to take place in Uttarakhand in February 2025. The J&K Taekwondo Association lauded the athletes on their outstanding achievements and extended best wishes for their future endeavours.
