JAMMU, Dec 23: Jammu Kashmir Union Territory Senior Men and Women Kho Kho team left to participate in the 53rd Senior National Kho Kho Championship to be held from 26 to 30 December at Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The team was screened by Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council Ravi Singh and was flagged off by BS Tirthi Treasurer KKFI and Senior Vice President JKKKA.
The women team players are Pooja Sharma (C), Shashi Sharma, Sapna, Priya, Shivani, Shamli, Kanchan, Sangli, Simran, Kajal Sharma, Surbhi and Nikita Singh.
The coach for women team is Ajay Gupta and Manager is Puspavati Bali.
The men team players are Pankaj Malhotra (C), Sunil Sharma, Sandeep Jamwal, Sahil Dev, Damanpreet Singh, Hunykeit Sharma, Sikander, Dev Kumar, Amanpreet Singh, Tajamul Mohi Ul Din, Shabir Ahmed Bhagat and Santosh.
The coach for men team is Dheeraj Sharma and Manager is Sahil Angral.
President JKKKA Manmeet Singh sent their best wishes to the team and sports kit were distributed by the Harjit Singh General Secretary JKKKA to the men and women teams.
Among others present were Ravinder Singh Bali NIS Coach, Ankush Sharma Kabbadi Coach, AmrinderPal Singh International Referee, Gagan Kumar and Bindu Sharma.
