JAMMU, June 13: The Under-19 boys and girls Tennis Ball Cricket Teams of Jammu and Kashmir left for Patiala in Punjab today to participate in the 20th Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship to be held there from June 14 to June 17.
Earlier, Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal, flagged of the teams in a simple function and wished them good luck for the championship.
The teams: Under-19 Boys: Momin Rashid, Aqib Bashir, Afnan Qadir, Shobleek Singh, Ghulam Gilani, Mohd Aleem, Syed Fahad, Omar Farooq, Faizan Ahmed, Kamran Jalal, Shafqat Hakim, Irshad Sheikh, Avneet Singh and Gurasheesh Singh.
Under-19 Girls: Amreena, Nasiba Farooq, Iqra Bashir, Nayyara Noor, Akida Mushtaq, Mir Afshan Nazir, Suvatlala Gani, Rummissa Farooq, Insha, Shazia, Salma Farooq and Sumila.
The teams are being accompanied by Farooq Ahmed Salroo, Manjeet Singh, Bilal Shamas and Mehbooba as coaches and managers.
