JAMMU, Feb 18: Jammu and Kashmir Tug of War players brought laurels by winning three medals in Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat Tug of War National Integration Championships 2019-2020 (Zone-3) for Senior Men & Women held at Nehru Stadium, Roorkee Haridwar, Uttarakhand, recently.
The selected players for 3rd-Zone Senior Women National Integration were Kiran Kumari, Dilshad and Suman Kumari. They were a part of the winning team who defeated Chandigarh in semifinals and lost to Delhi-Sikkim in the finals.
In this tournament, 122 participants were there from different States namely Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Chandigarh, Manipur, Sikkim and Delhi.
Hardeep Singh Anand, President J&K Tug of War Association lauded the efforts of the players for this achievement.
