JAMMU, May 24: J&K Tug-of-War- team was selected for participation in the upcoming 35th Senior Men and Women Beach Category Tug-of-War Championship, scheduled to be held from May 27 to 30 at Vengurla in Maharashtra.
The teams were selected by Hardeep Singh Anand, president of the Association, under the supervision of J&K Sports Council’s screening committee members headed by Ashok Singh Jamwal, Divisional Sports Officer, Satish Gupta (Manager) and others at New Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Team for senior men and women (60kg mix): Vasvi Gupta, Arti Billoria, Anu Sharma, Disha Gupta, Aditi Sharma, Sandeep Bhargam, Sajjad Farid, Mohd Zaffer, Samdarsh Kumar and Kapish Sharma.
For Men (58kg) Satish Kumar, Fazil Fayaz, Rashid Gulzar, Ankit Kumar, Adil Manzoor, Obaid Manzoor, Ram Chander, Ubaid Bin Yaqoob, Kunal Sharma and Mohd Asif, while Gorav Kumar Dubey, Jasvinder Singh and Kiran Kumari will accompany the teams as coaches and manager respectively.
