J&K wins 3 gold, faces Chhattisgarh in cricket finals

JAMMU, Feb 11: Jammu and Kashmir forest teams in various sports disciplines won 3 gold medals, while the cricket team will take on Chhattisgarh in the summit clash of the ongoing 20th All India Forest Sports Meet, being held in Punchkulla, Haryana.
J&K blanked Goa by five goals to nil (5-0) in the title clash to claim gold, while cueist Suhail Khalid blossomed to bag 2 gold medals in snooker and billiards, defeating Madhya Pradesh in snooker finals and Chhattisgarh in billiards summit clash.
69 sportspersons drawn from the Department of Forest are taking part in this sporting extravaganza, under the supervision of Sports Officer of the Department.
