JAMMU, Apr 20: Twenty-member J&K State Wrestling team consisting of 21 players and officials left for Jharkhand today to participate in the 34th Boys Free Style Greeco Roman and 17th Female Junior National Championship and 18th Girls Sub-Junior (Cadet) National Wrestling Championship-2015, being organized by Jharkhand Wrestling Association at Ganpat Rai Indoor Stadium, Hotwar Ranchi in Jharkhand.
Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council and Ajay Vaid, General Secretary J&K Wrestling Association spoke to the team members and wished them good luck, while prominent among other present on the occasion were Pardeep Sharma, Raju Sharma, Swaran Lal, Raj Kumar, Dheeraj Sharma and Mohd Sadiq.
The Team: Junior; Vishal Singh (55 kg), Rahul Sharma (55 kg), Sahil Sharma (60 kg), Muneer Ahmed (60 kg), Lovekesh (66 kg), Ajay (74 kg), Sanjay Kumar (96 kg), Ishaq Ahmed, Ajay Bharti (coach), Sukhdev Singh (coach) and Mohd Akram (manager).
Sub-Junior: Gourav Kumar (46 kg), Anil Choudhary (54 kg), Suresh Kumar (58 kg), Sahil Kumar (58 kg), Shami Kumar (63 kg), Sandeep Singh (69 kg), Amandeep (76 kg), Bahudar Khan (85 kg), DANUK Mansotra (100 kg) and Surinder Manhas (69 kg).
