JKAP 6th Bn organizes storytelling competition

POONCH, Mar 29: Under its Civic Action Programme, Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police (JKAP) 6th Battalion organized a storytelling competition on the theme of “Generating feeling of Patriotism” at Government Higher Secondary School, Mendhar, here today.
Saleem Shah, Principal of GHSS (Boys) Mendhar graced the occasion as chief guest where as SSP Suram Singh (Commandant, JKAP 6th Battalion, other GOs, Assistant Professors, lecturers, teachers and students of different schools were present on the occasion.
Students from GHSS (Boys) Mendhar, Muqaddas HSS (Boys & Girls) Mendhar, Government Model Girls HSS Mendhar, Public HSS Mendhar, St Francis HSS Mendhar, GHSS Salwah, Chhattral, Mankote, Dhargloon, Harni, Government High School Harni, Ari, Dharan, Pathanateer, Sagra, Uchhad, Chajjla, Topa and Kotain etc. participated in the Competition.
Sadiya Naz of GHSS Salwah was declared as 1st prize winner, Qadir Ali of GHSS Salwah as 2nd prize winner and Mehvish Farooq of Government High School Uchhad was declared as 3rd prize winner. They were awarded cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 4000 and Rs 3000 respectively along with trophies.
Certificates were distributed to all the participants of the event.
