JAMMU, July 6: Pitching for restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Apni Party (JKAP) today demanded resumption of political process in the UT.
Addressing a party function here today, former Minister and senior leader, JKAP, Dilawar Mir said that JKAP will fight for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood and will pursue the developmental agenda in order to take the people of the Union Territory towards peace and prosperity.
“The time has come when the political process should start in J&K,” he said, adding that divisive politics has no place in a democratic process where people should be united.
Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya said that the party will work for the redressal of the grievances of the all section of society.
On the occasion, several people joined the JKAP in the presence of former Minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir, former Minister Manjit Singh, Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya, Ex-MLC Syed Asgar Ali, senior leader Vikram Malhotra and senior youth leaders –Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, Vaibhav Mattoo, Sandeep Gandotra and Janmeet Singh Bali.
The retired Feeder Manager, Power Development Department, Ajaz Kazmi along with other youth also joined the JKAP.
Prominent among those who joined the JKAP include Rahil Paul, Govind, Sahil Sharma, Sunny Kumar, Shubham Bashan, Aijaz Mir, Suhail, Wasim, Charanjit Singh, Haider Hussain, Hasan Ali, and others.
