JAMMU, Sept 22: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) deputation led by its president Dr Surinder Radotra met Director Agriculture Ajay Khajuria and expressed concern over the recently prepared list of Rehbar-e-Ziraat (ReZ) by Department of Agriculture.
While speaking, Dr Radotra apprised the Director about the Cabinet decision regarding regularization of ReZ on merit wise (BSc 75 points, MSc 15 points and PhD 10 points).
He said that the list prepared by Department of Agriculture has created chaos among ReZ as it included those, who are not regular with the department.
Dr Radotra urged the Director to include ReZ, who had done their higher degree relating to Agriculture and neglect those who have submitted MA, MSc Bio Chemistry, IT, Home Science, MRD, MBA, MSc Ecological, MSc Environment as their qualification.
Ajay Khujuria, Director Agriculture gave patient hearing to the demand and said that the matter will be taken seriously. He said that soon instruction will be given to concerned authorities for scrutiny of the document of ReZ.
CM Sharma, Deputy Director Agriculture (Central), Provisional Chairman of JKATA Dr Vinod Sharma, Joginder Singh, Jai, Skinder Singh, Sanjeev Chib, Raju and Neeraj Kumar were also present.
