JAMMU, Jan 7: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) today announced the procedure for local women players for the upcoming Women’s T20 (WT20) League Auction, announced by BCCI in the month of February.
It is pertinent to mention here that the BCCI has decided to start a women’s league on the pattern of IPL. “All registrations will be via an online WT20L Auction Registration System. All registration will be done through the JKCA only for the players belonging to J&K and Ladakh,” said Member Administration, Brig (Retd) Anil Gupta.
The players desirous to register themselves will have to inform JKCA at email: woment20league.jkca@gmail.com  by giving her name, DOB and Email ID, said Brig. Gupta.
Once the player’s name is registered by the Association, the system will generate an email to the player with their log in details so that they can complete the registration process. Once registered, the player should login to the online registration system. The following documents are available for them to download once they logged into the online registration system: WT20L 2023 Auction registration-user manual for players, WT20L players auction term and conditions and auction guidance note.
The final date for submitting online details for the players is January 26 by 5 pm.
“Any uncapped player, who has retired from domestic cricket, can only submit her auction agreement for player registration after getting written approval from BCCI,” stated Gupta.
