JAMMU, Mar 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has organized a three-day workshop for Physiotherapists at the JKCA complex, GGM Science College Jammu.
The event is being held under the auspices of the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) Bangalore. A total of 18 Physiotherapists from Jammu and Kashmir, including both experienced professionals and newcomers, are participating in the workshop.
The event was inaugurated by Brigadier Anil Gupta (Retd.), Member Administration of JKCA. In his address, Brig. Gupta stressed the importance of Physiotherapists building a strong rapport with players to foster trust and ensure effective treatment. He highlighted the need for Physiotherapists to be well-equipped to help control injuries, ensuring better performance from players in future seasons.
The workshop is led by Dr. Badrinath Prathi, Zonal Head of Sports Science Medicine (North Zone), with Niraj Karamchandani and Abhishek Thakar, both experts in their respective fields, sharing their knowledge with participants.
