JKCA Jammu wing terms camp illegal

JAMMU, Sept 25: Terming the selection camp for Under-19 boys at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy illegal, the Jammu wing of JKCA in a statement issued here said that the camps already held at MA Stadium were legal as they were held by the elected body of the Association.
The statement said despite having free of cost proper cricket facility at GGM Science College Hostel ground, some people with vested interests have organized the camp on rent basis in a private Academy.
The vice chairman, Rakesh Kumar and joint secretary, Sudershan Mehta said that illegal camps like this tarnish the image of the reputed Academies also, adding that so-called administrators are making series of blunders, one after the other.
Referring to the sacking of the BCCI Secretary, Sanjay Patel, Mr Mehta said that the people like him are bound to face the same consequences.
