JKCA refutes allegations

JAMMU, Oct 27: Refuting allegations with regard to maltreatment of Under-16 boys cricket team, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) in a statement issued here said that sending teams from Srinagar to Jammu and Amritsar by road is not a new thing, rather it is a custom, a system or a practice from last 15 years.
The statement said that the team was sent by AC Coaches and their accommodation was made by JKCA as per past practice in Hotel Sevoy, Jammu, wherein the teams are being accommodated from last 10 years.
“The team left Jammu for Amritsar today by road through AC Coach buses and their accommodation has been made by the BCCI in good hotels,” the statement added.
