JKCA to appoint local coaches for accelerating cricketing activity

SRINAGAR, June 27: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) held a meeting which was presided over by its Chairman Arvinder Singh Micky and attended by apex body office bearers.
In the meeting major decisions were taken regarding process of appointment of local coaches for Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, appointment of some office staff, measures for accelerating the cricketing activity in Jammu Division and enhancement of DA payable to Ranji and junior cricketers during National Tournaments w.e.f 2014-15.
The cricketing activities in Kashmir division were taken stock of and it was disclosed that the cricketing activity in all districts of Kashmir Division had already taken off and were in full progress.
