JKCC outplays Samar Cricket Club by 53 runs

JAMMU, Nov 15: JKCC thrashed Samar Cricket Club by a big margin of 53 runs in the ongoing 2nd Diwali T20 Cup, being organized by Youth Welfare Association Cricket Club Simbal Camp at Government Boys High School, Simbal Camp, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JKCC made 125 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Parvinder Singh scored 50 not out, while Aman and Puneet contributed 33 and 10 runs respectively. For Samar Cricket Club,  Parvez scalped 2 wickets by giving away19 runs in 3 overs, while Prince Vishavjeet and Vivek took one wicket each.
In reply, Samar Cricket Club Jammu bundled out for 72 runs in 17 overs and lost the match by 53 runs. Raman, Goldy and Prince contributed 21, 18 and 10 runs to the total. For JKCC, Puneet scalped 3 wickets by conceding 4 runs in 4 overs, while Monu and Aman took 2 wickets each. Parvinder Singh was adjudged as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Kulbir Singh (Physical Edu-cation Master) and Gurvinderpal Singh as umpires, while Gurmeet Singh maintained the scorebook.
