Srinagar, July 14: Shaheen FC trounced Kashmir Avengers by two goals to nil in the ongoing JKFA Professional League-2021, being organised by JKFA in collaboration with J&K Sports Council at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The first match was played between Shaheen FC Jammu and Kashmir Avengers FC wherein both the teams began the game with offensive football to find the net. In the 10th minute of the game Macdonald of Shaheen Sports FC took the advantage of the mistake of one of the defenders of Kashmir Avengers and scored an easy goal, followed by the Shaheen FC Jammu was awarded a penalty kick for the rough tackling by one of the defenders in the penalty area. The Shaheen FC’s Macdonald made no mistake in converting the penalty kick into goal.
Although, the opponent team-Kashmir Avaengers FC tried hard to score a goal but could not penetrate the solid defence line of Shaheen FC, thus Shaheen FC defeated Kashmir Avengers FC by two goals to nil.
Macdonald of Shaheen FC was declared as man of the match.
J&K Bank XI will face Real Kashmir FC (R) at 4 pm, whereas Hyderya Sports FC will take on SCFA at 6:30 pm tomorrow at same venue.
