JKFA’s directive to clubs

JAMMU, Jan 27: Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) has directed the clubs affiliated with it not to participate in 3rd Christmas Soccer Championship being organized by a private organization, which it (JKFA) alleged, has not taken permission from it.
The directive was issued by the Association after its meeting held under the chairmanship of Surinder Singh Bunty, vice-president, JKFA. The meeting was attended by senior members of JKFA and office bearers of the clubs associated with it.
During the meeting, the panel of referees associated with JKFA also resolved not to officiate in the said tournament.
JKFA alleged that the said organization is organizing the tournament and has even issued invitation letters to some of their affiliated members without taking permission from JKFA, which is mandatory under the provision of JKFA.
