JKGTF delegation calls on CEO Kathua

KATHUA, July 10: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) led by State Chairman Amar Nath Thakur and General Secretary, S. Parveen Singh met Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua and discussed the transfer and salary issues of the teaching community in detail.
The delegation demanded that salary of teachers working under RMSA has not been released since April 2017 till date, to leave them in the lurch.
CEO on the spot discussed the matter with State RMSA Higher Authorities and asked them to release one month salary of Teachers and Masters working under RMSA and clear the balance liability after the Centre share grant is received.
Regarding the transfer of teachers, CEO informed the delegation that nearly three hundred transfers of teachers will be made as per the transfer policy on the rational basis and completion of stay in the institution.
The issue of modifications and low result percentage by Lecturers and other Teachers were also discussed in detail and necessary directions in this regard were issued to the concerned Authorities.
Those present in the delegation were State Secretary, Sanjay Sehgal; District President, Surjeet Singh Jasrotia; District General Secretary, S. Devender Singh; Mukund Lal, Dharam Singh, Bharat Bhushan and  Tara Mani.
