JAMMU, Apr 4: Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers’ Forum (JKGTF) today demanded pending salary of SSA head teachers.
The demand was highlighted in a meeting of the Association, wherein Parveen Singh, State general secretary expressed great concern over the issue and said that the salary of SSA head teachers for the month of December 2017 and January, February 2018 is still pending.
He said the Forum projected the issue at every level in Education Department but no action was taken by the education authorities for releasing the pending salary. Singh appealed Governor SP Malik to release pending salary of head teachers working under SSA.
The meeting unanimously decided that all affected head teachers will hold protest in the office of Director School Education if their pending salary is not released within short time. During the meeting, speakers also raised the need of holding DPC in all stream without any delay.
