JKHWA to observe Dec 3 as ‘Black Day’

JAMMU, Nov 23: J&K Handicapped Welfare Association (JKHWA) has decided to observe December 3 as ‘Black Day’.
The decision in this regard was taken by a joint meeting of both Jammu and Srinagar wings of the association held here under the chairmanship of KK Verma, president of the Jammu wing of the association.
During the course of meeting, various issues were discussed in detail and it was unanimously resolved by the participants to observe December 3 (World Disability Day) as ‘Black Day’ by both the wings of the association, as previous and present Government too have failed to mitigate the sufferings of the physically challenged persons of the State.
The association appealed all its members to ensure their presence at Press Club on December 3 at 9 am sharp to observe World Disability Day as ‘Black Day’.
