JKMEF mobilizes employees for highlighting demands

JAMMU, Apr 9:  The leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, led by Sushil Sudan, conducted extensive tour of block Purmandal, Nud Samba, Ramgarh, Akhnoor, Pallanwala and convened a series of meetings highlighting the long pending demands of medical employees.
During the meetings, medical employees were mobilized for participation in proposed one-day protest dharna on April 12 at DHS Complex Jammu in support of their demands, which include release of regular salary to Family Welfare Scheme employees and  consolidated Safaiwalas, holding of DPC for filling up all vacant posts, regularization of pending cases of daily rated workers, creation of new posts by re-organizing the department, enhancement of FTA from Rs 45 to Rs 1000/month, etc.
During the Samba visit, an adhoc body of District Hospital Samba employees was constituted. The body comprised of Yash Paul Sharma, Bagh Ali, Tarsem Lal, Subash Chander, Preeto Devi, Maan Kour, Parveen Kumar, Nisha Sharma Verinder Singh, Garu Ram, Sat Paul, Darshan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Sunita Devi, Surinder Sharma, Santosh, Rajesh Kumar and Ravi Kumar. The body was assigned the task to ensure success of  one-day conference of JKMEF district Samba on May 10, 2014.
The Federation leaders, who addressed the meetings, included Harpal Singh, Prafulat Singh, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Yugal Bakshi, Rakesh Kumar,   Kishore Singh, Rakesh Bakshi, U K Sudan, Rajinder Bhagat, Ashok Sharma, Rakesh Kumar and others.
