JKNAA seeks measures for strengthening media

JAMMU, Sept 14: J&K News Agencies’ Association (JKNAA) today call upon the State Government to address the issues confronting print media industry in the State and sought measures for strengthening the media institutions which have withstood huge challenges in conflict scenario during last more than 30 years.
In a marathon meeting of JKNAA held here today under its patron Mohd Aslam Bhat, the editors and representatives various news agencies from Jammu region sought immediate attention of the Government for resolving the issues coming in the way of stability and expansion of print media institutions in the State”.
The Association called upon the Government to show uniformity in the implementation of the advertisement policy.
The meeting was attended by Rashid Rahi (CNS), Sabir Ayub (KMN), Basharat Zargar (API), Arshid Rasool (JKNS), Puneet Khajuria (JNF), Mir Zameer (JKNI) and Vijay Mala (KIP).
