JAMMU, Nov 1: J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today criticized the PDP-BJP Government for ignoring tourism projects of Jammu, saying the businessmen, hoteliers and persons depending on the tourism industry in Jammu are on the verge of starvation.
Addressing a press conference, Neeraj Gupta, zonal president of JKNPP, said that the Government is not paying heed to the need and aspirations of the people of Jammu. “The BJP Government is taking them for granted. Despite of big assurances and promises, the Government failed to prove its sincerity regarding the promotion of tourism in J&K”, he added.
“The Gandola project, Tawi lake project, etc are still incomplete”, he said, adding, for the lust of power the Coalition Government has surrendered all the beneficial projects which can improve the tourism industry and employment in Jammu.
He said that the time has come when the people of Jammu should raise their voice against discrimination with them and also learn to fight for their rights.
