JAMMU, May 23: Court has directed the Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association (JKOA) to maintain status quo with respect to election of new office bearers for the term of four years and withheld the agenda of meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow at Jammu Club till next date of hearing.
The Court has issued the directions in response to the suit filed by Dr SM Bali, president Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association against Prof Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association, challenging the process of election of JKOA and blaming it for throwing the constitution into winds.
