JAMMU, June 16: Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association again grilled Council head by blaming him making violation of Constitution of the Council.
According to a handout issued here sighed by general secretary JKOA, Prof Ashutosh Sharma, the Association has blamed Council of violations by undertaking allotments of construction works and making huge payments, even after its expiry.
The handout added that the term of J&K State Sports Council expired on June 3, 2013 and under the provisions of the constitution it was mandatory to form a new Council, adding that instead of working in that direction, the Council in an unauthorized manner is aiming at framing an Adhoc committee, which speaks of vested interest.
Moreover, the Association has appealed the Sports Minister, who has promised to frame a new Council, to counter the ill designs of the Council administrators at an earliest.
