JAMMU, Aug 25: Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association today refuted the news in circulation regarding Sheikh-Ul-Alam Sports Association Baramulla is going to conduct Kashmir Olympic Games -2021 under the aegis of J&K Sports Council, Department of YS&S and J&K Olympic Association.
In a official communiqué issued here by president of JKOA, Dr Ashutosh Sharma said that it has already been decided in the general body meetings of J&K Olympic Association which was held on April 9 and August 2 respectively, the JKOA to organise J&K UT level Games in the month of September-October-2021, prior to the participation of J&K UT contingent in the National Games.
It is being informed to all the concerned that nobody has taken any permission nor has anybody been allowed to conduct any event using the name of J&K Olympic Association, said president Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Sharma.
