JAMMU, Dec 1: JKP clinched the title trophy of the ongoing All India Unique T20 Cricket League 2013 which was organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda in collaboration with 76 BN on Country Cricket Academy Gharota, Jammu here today.
Batting first, after winning the toss, JKP Jammu scored a total of 167 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Pankaj was the top scorer with 67 runs, while Rajesh Gill scored 37 runs. From Friends Cricket Club Doda, Salman Sheikh and Raja Gattu shared 1 wickets each.
In reply, Friends Cricket Club managed to score 124 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Salman Sheikh scored 24, while Raja Gattu scored 20 runs for the team. For JKP, Hilal Rather and Rompy shared 2 wicket each.
Pankaj of JKP was awarded as man of the match for his best all round performance.
Member BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Ranjeet Kalra was the chief guest while Hilal Rather, cricket promotor and Chairman, Simula Group presided on the occasion. Kuldeep Chander Sharma, Vivek Sharma, Director Country Cricket Academy Gharota and organizer and patron Young Star Cricket Club Doda, Manzoor Butt were also present on the occasion.
Ranjeet Kalra and Hilal Rather lauded the efforts of the organisers in holding the event smoothly and successfully in rural area.
Mohd Amin and Saddam Hussain acted as umpire while Wasim Raja was scorer.
